(Catch a Wave)
The Japan Skaiting Championships were held from Dec. 26 to 28 at Namihaya Dome in Osaka. If a player wins in this meeting, they can have the ticket of the next world championship.

Asada Mao was on top after the short program. She failed on a triple axel at opening of her free skate, but she performes the rest of her jumps, spins and steps well. She recieved 132.41 points in the free skate and won the overall title with a total of 205.33 points, so Asada won the title for the second consecutive year.
Ando Miki was in second place after the short program but she came out on top in the free skate with 135.50 points. she said "I feel great. I didn't get nervous and I was able to skate just as I've done practice." Overall, She finished second with 204.18 points, only 1.15 points behind Asada.

I watched this meeting on TV.
I think that I want Asada, Ando and Nakano player who were able to win the ticket of the world championship in this meeting to try it hard as Japan representative.
