①＜豚肉混入ミンチ　社長、認める＞
北海道苫小牧市にある食品加工会社「ミートホープ」が生産した「牛ミンチ」に、
豚肉を混ぜていた問題で、田中社長は自ら豚肉を混入するよう
指示していたことを、６月２１日の記者会見で認めた。また、豚肉を混入するのは、
「７、８年前からあった」と述べた。

②＜女性温泉施設 爆発＞
６月１９日午後２時半ごろ、東京都渋谷の女性専用温泉施設「シエスパ」付属施設の地下１階にある、
温泉くみ上げ施設が爆発し、建物の屋根や壁と床が吹き飛び全壊した。
１階にいた女性従業員３人が死亡、女性従業員２人と通行人の男性が重軽傷を負った。
普段は、ガスは換気扇などを通じて屋外に放出される仕組みだが、
何らかの原因で内部に滞留しその充満したガスに引火し爆発したとみられる。

＊感想
①これまで田中社長は、豚肉混入に自身の関与はないと言っていた。
混入を始めたきっかけにしても社長は当初、「中島工場長に相談された」と答えていたが、
実は、社長自身が「牛肉と豚肉を合わせて作ろうか」と提案したという。

あくまでも企業のトップである社長が、自らが指示した悪事を従業員になすりつけて、
自分だけ助かろうとしたことには、少し人間性を疑ってしまう。
消費者にひどい事をしているということ以前の問題のようにも感じた。

ホーチミンのマッサージ店の従業員がストライキを起こした。
理由は長年勤務しているのに社会保険・医療保険の加入手続きをしないこと、不当解雇、また、労働環境にも問題があるという。これに対して、店長は給料の支払いをはじめ、その他の手続きを今月中に行うと約束した。

従業員がストライキをすれば、もちろん商売にならなくなり、店長からするとまずい状態である。
だから、そのまずい状態を避けるために、店長はきちんと従業員の要求に答えた。
このように、自分が不利にならないよう上の人が下の人を保障する、この状態が
「パンとサーカス」であると思い、このニュースを選びました。
